I just posted four new short videos covering some fundamental concepts in Fiore. They cover holding your blade (with discussion of true/false edge and gloves), range, cuts, stance, and footwork. They are all posted to a new playlist on the Learn Fiore YouTube channel. Since I'm stuck at home during the Covid-19 isolation period, I had to serve as both cameraman and presenter. So the videos are a little rough at points. Hopefully we'll get back to being able to make content with more of the team soon.

Atlantia has a new wiki focused on our Kingdom's people, groups, activities, etc. I've added or contributed to articles related to my areas of interest (historic martial arts, fencing, photography, websites and some awards). You can go and read what others have added and then add or add to pages that you are interested in; that's the way wikis work! Go check it out at https://wiki.atlantia.sca.org.

Are you a new fencer trying to get up to speed on how things work? Are you a transplanted fencer who is new to Atlantia? Are you a non-fencer confused by all the talk of Scholars, Provosts, and Sea Dragons? Well, my new article was written for all of you! I try to explain the culture and institutions of rapier in Atlantia including our awards and our guild scarfing system. Depending on feedback I may also do a University class version of the article. Please let me know what you think. Now, onto the article!
